Something happened that we still don't understand. I'm not sure it matters. [he seemed sensitive about it and she generally relates to wanting to keep your shit under wraps.]
I agree that it isn't Chandra's way of doing things. No matter how he acted, he had honour. We were trapped together for a good portion of the time, last week. And I was not in my right mind for much of it. My impression of him from that experience was someone with courage and decency, as much as he preferred not to show it.
[His frowns, gaze kind of drifting to the side, but he nods. Everything was happening so much toward the end with the blood tests.]
... Yeah. Despite everything, he had his own code of honor. He wasn't into the whole party thing, either. Problem is, this means we're still looking for someone who was skilled enough to knock Childe out but enough of a jerk that they'd also deny him some dignity in death.
It doesn't necessarily take a great deal of skill to knock him out, if he was caught unawares. There have been magic prizes that would confer abilities that could be of use.
Do you think so? I read it as a message Childe wrote when he found himself awake, intended to provide some clues as to his fate, though they were indecipherable to me.
Other than that I think he suspects he will fare better on the other side; that that is the substance of the messages the dead have been trying to get across and that has come across garbled.
I don't know whether or not he's right about that.

[Evidence of use? Unless the items just poof into the void after use. Mystery.]
The stuff on his phone made it sound like Childe went hunting that night, though.
