We found her out in the Silent World. A wild dog got to her mother, but we were able to rescue her.

Definitely. She'll do better among humans anyway. The Silent World is very dangerous, even for animals. At least with people we can keep her safe and make sure she grows.

...the Known World is, basically, all the safe and cleansed areas, where people can live in relative safety. Outside of those places, everything else is the Silent World.
